Progression Workshops

The Sheffield Family e-Learning Project (FamilyNet), as you have known it for the last two years, finished on 31st December, 2007. As of 1st January, 2008, the broadband access, technical support and some of the tutoring support you received at schools came to an end.

What's next for you and your family? How do you want to apply the learning you've gained?  Workshops were developed to help you celebrate and recogise all that you have learned during the project. In addition, we provide materials to help you think about next steps, be they to look for work, volunteer, or continue your learning.

The Learning Journey celebrates what you've learned with FamilyNet.

 Learning Journey

This series of workshops will help you think about what you would like to do next with your new skills.

Due to additional funding, the FamilyNet team will provide some services in various schools and community learning centres that relate to progression. Your Adult Learning Mentors and Extended Schools coordinators in the schools will be able to tell you what learning opportunities are available. Make sure you let them know you are still keen to learn, and leave with them a phone number or your e-mail.
